I was asked to do the Yardbirds 2012 Brass monkey tour poster/image. I also posted the drawing too, i always like to see the original drawing, so i'll start posting them! Ok this group of paintings were done in august of 2010, i just got them back from where they were hanging in the gallery wing of Baywalks' Movieco. Thanks to Laurie who got at me and gave me the space. All these were mixed media, acrylic oils, pastel and ink, there all pretty much 24 X 15, wood panels mounted, i was reading allot of myths and fables, lots of stories with human and animal comradery, i guess they were my adaptations, but fun to see them again, and now im sharing them! thanks for lookin'

This past Saturday was "free museum day" here in lovely downtown St.Pete, there was a line around the block for the Dali museum, i was over by the St.Pete History museum, i was doing some inking, also brought a painting that i just recently finished, lots of rain, but i did crank out a few Inks on bristol. Took one drawing into Photoshop (before the monsoon)and had a mini crowd, twas a jolly good time!

These are some patterns put together for the purpose of being printed on furniture. I did three initial designs , the "rock out!", sci-fi pulp, and the urban graphic city vibe. I also have a few versions of the "rock out" pattern i was messin' around with a little. most will go on chairs and maybe desk's. There' all Ink on Bristol. I had loads of fun working on them, thanks Roger!

I'm currently doing 15 pieces for the private wing of the downtown St.Pete movie theater, It's where they show all the independent artsy films there and i'm doing a ancient Chinese style, Grauman's Chinese Theater really got me inspired, so this is my first pice "the white" ill be posting more when i get em done, there quite large too, which is my favorite way of working! thanks for stopping by!

For about a year now i've been doing most work from my head, using about 80% imagination and the rest referenced, i think they both play a very important role in being a well rounded image maker.i haven't been looking at allot of other artists, and trying to create something innocent, fresh, almost original. It's been very fun and liberating, almost not caring at all, but now i'm going for the complete opposite, to train myself, spending time looking at other artists, past and present, doing allot more observational work, and just flip my whole work ethics to live, but still using my imagination, just not letting it behind the wheel so much. that said here are some hot little tid bits that ive been checking out. Of course the legend, and one of my absolute all time fav painters, Stanley Meltzoff, guy could paint under water! oh wait he did! and some other great work, i just love the fresh crunchiness of retro artwork. thanks allot for checking out!

HOLY COW! the quality time soul revue! last night was a blast and huge success! the band quality time came out to kill it, yours truly did caricatures all night, saintly designs printed my t-shirt designs of Al green and Aretha Franklin, so many other gnarly events, thanks tons for everyones hard work, WERE DOING IT UP NEXT MONTH get ready people! good times...quality time!

WENT TO A RAYS GAME! with my good buddy kenners, only did one drawing but had a great time. man i haven't been to a baseball game in forever, i can totally see how fans get addicted. from when we got their and battled our fellow fans for a parking spot, x-wing style weaving through people in the stadium, all the while searching for a reasonably priced beer! loads of fun!
